E. Ann Baldwin

About the artist

E. Ann Baldwin’s monotypes are characterized by deep, rich color and deliberate lines balancing both the tone and drawn images. The lines dance and strut in harmony over the paper, sandwiched in layers of distinct yet sincere color. The rhythmic arrangement and expression of color and line is a result of multiple printings.

Within the last 25 years Ms. Baldwin has concentrated her efforts on all technical areas of printmaking as a practicing artist who exhibits regionally, nationally and internationally and as an instructor/educator as well. E. Ann Baldwin’s prints are thoughtful yet intense gestures, executed with passion, emotion and control whether she is rendering her many abstracts or her figurative studies, having the end result of a one-of-a-kind image.
